COLORADO, US. May 28th, 2025 – XIMEA, the innovator of high-resolution cameras with a unique feature set, has expanded the xiX-XL family by introducing one of the highest resolution cameras using a global shutter Sony IMX661 sensor.

These cutting-edge color and monochrome camera models deliver exceptional image quality and performance, catering to the evolving demands of industrial applications.

Offering ultra-high resolution, the MX1276 models boast an impressive 127.6 MPix, with an effective resolution of 13,400 x 9,528 pixels. This ensures detailed and precise imaging, which is essential for applications requiring meticulous inspection and analysis or aerial mapping and photogrammetry.

Unlike the typical rolling shutter found in high-resolution sensors, the global shutter technology of this sensor captures fast-moving objects without distortion, preserving image integrity even in high-speed environments.

With high-speed frame rates, the camera achieves more than 20 frames per second, supporting rapid image acquisition and enhancing efficiency in time-sensitive industrial processes.

Other key features include:

  • Compact and Lightweight Design: Despite its Medium-format sensor size measuring 56 mm diagonally, the camera maintains a compact form factor of approximately 80 x 80 mm, optimizing space utilization and integration flexibility.
  • PCIe Gen 3 interface: The camera features a PCI Express Gen 3 interface, ensuring swift data transfer with the lowest latency and CPU load. Additionally, allowing long-distance connection and easy multiplexing of several cameras into a multi-camera system.
  • Detachable Camera Head: An additional way to fine-tune the camera is through the ability of these models to separate the sensor head from the camera body. This not only keeps the already minimal sensor temperature down but also enables the combination of several camera heads in a multi-camera setup.
  • Extra Cooling: The default heat dissipation option is a fan module attached to the back of the camera. To eliminate vibrations and decrease heat further, a liquid cooling module can be added.
  • Lens Mounting: Several passive and active lens mounts are planned to be available, starting with a passive M72 mount and an active Hasselblad mount. The active mounts will provide remote control of aperture, focus, and image stabilization.
The new camera models joining the XIMEA portfolio offer the following parameters:

127 Mpix, Sony IMX661, monochrome, 13400 x 9528, Medium format, Global shutter, 21 FPS
127 Mpix, Sony IMX661, color, 13400 x 9528, Medium format, Global shutter, 21 FPS

High resolution, unbeatable form factor, attractive price and customizability make these cameras excel in various applications.

Iași, ROMANIA. April 1st, 2025 – Flixier.com, the fastest online video editing platform, announces a new Content Repurposing Guide specifically designed to help influencers, content creators and marketing managers adapt to sharply declining organic reach on Facebook. Over the past year, social media creators have watched their posts reach a shrinking fraction of their followers. Flixier adds fresh data suggesting that reach is down even further by over 60% during the last two years. Flixier also offers a practical guide to make up for the loss in reach: repurpose and tailor existing video content for multiple platforms to regain lost engagement and reach new audiences.

Context
: Starting with the summer of 2024, export social media observing outlets such as Socialinsider.io reported historical downs in reach for both Facebook and Instagram with figures as low as 2.6% of followers reached on Facebook. Instagram, despite having nearly double the reach (4%) was also reported to see an overall decline of no less than 18% in terms of reached audiences.

The Declining Reach of Social Media: A Crisis for Content Creators

In the past two years, this crisis for content creators has worsened. A recent survey conducted by Flixier across Publishers with Facebook pages between 1 and 3 Million followers suggests that most publishers lost over 60% of reach, and traffic received from Facebook is down to 10% or 20% of former levels. This is even more concerning because variables such as posting frequency and follower development were taken into account as well. All publishers in the survey saw a 5% or more (one even by 20%) increase in followers and still reported similar-sized losses in reach during the last two years, with only insignificant improvements.

“In this context, most senior management starts to question further investment into organic social or even winds down on social media activity”
declares Paul Ruscior, CEO and co-founder of Flixier.com. In order to “help influencers, content creators and marketing managers uphold their efficiency and meet KPI goals, content creation needs to be streamlined.”

Understanding Content Repurposing: A Solution for Enhanced Reach

Flixier defines “content repurposing” as the process of adapting content that’s already been published and resharing it on other platforms. This helps maximize its visibility without starting from scratch. Effective as it may be, this process of adapting content to new platforms can also be quite taxing in terms of time and resources spent –  unless it’s aided by AI.

With the proper AI tools, many aspects of content repurposing can be optimized and sped up, saving hours of manual work and frustration. From caption generation to automatic transcription and fluent voiceovers, AI-powered tools can help creators scale up their content production with very little effort.

In Flixier’s step-by-step guide Take back 60% of your reach: Repurpose content and reconnect with your audience through a better medium choice and the right editing toolkit, the authors outline all the steps needed to increase content’s reach on average by 60%.

Highlights from the Guide and Case Studies

All details are available at: https://flixier.com/blog/video-repurposing-combat-falling-social-media-reach-with-content-repurposing, but some of the key takeaways are:

Case Studies: Success Stories of Content Repurposing

Content repurposing helps most content creators see a considerable uptick in their cross-channel reach. On average, the period spent on creating content, whether that’s shooting, editing, and sharing posts, was cut down by 70%, all while most users reported a significant reach increase, of 25% or even 45% in some cases. Flixier analyzed examples of creators who took back control of their content’s performance and went from declining reach to explosive growth simply by repurposing their content, leveraging Flixier’s AI technologies.

Reported were results such as a 320% increase in total engagement across all platforms, a 240% increase in total number of followers, 89% monthly increase in sales, and a shortening of the sales cycle by 23 days.

CEO and co-founder Paul Ruscior adds: “One of our newest clients reported a 34.6% rise in traffic and 20% more bookings, especially after repurposing preexisting reels to TikTok, as well as to YouTube shorts, instead of just Facebook.”
