The “FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time” Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available as a Nintendo Switch 2 launch title. The relaxing RPG lets players freely switch between 14 different “Lives”, where occupations include defeating monsters, fishing, gathering materials and decorating their dream home with crafted furniture and artwork. The game encourages each players to enjoy their own unique style of adventure.

The game is fully optimized for Nintendo Switch 2, offering smoother, more visually refined graphics that enhance the overall experience. Load times have also been shortened, allowing players to immerse themselves even more deeply in the world of Fantasy Life.

Future updates are planned to implement expanded camera perspectives that allow players to see farther across the map, as well as further graphic enhancements specifically for Nintendo Switch 2.

This Switch 2 edition is an enhanced version and takes full advantage of the hardware’s capabilities, offering significant improvements such as drastically reduced load times, smoother scene transitions and quicker game launches for a seamless experience. The upgraded graphics and frame rate also make animations more fluid than before.

Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing the Upgrade Pack for USD 2.59 or EUR 2.27.

When playing the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on a Nintendo Switch, features and performance will be in line with the Nintendo Switch version.

There are currently no plans for sale of a Digital Deluxe Edition specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2. To play the Digital Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2, players should purchase the Nintendo Switch version of the Digital Deluxe Edition and use the paid Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack.

TOKYO, JAPAN. May 21st, 2025 – LEVEL5 Inc. has announced that “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time” is available for Early / Advanced Access on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam as of May 18. The full game is playable ahead of the scheduled release on May 21.

On PlayStation®5 / PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Steam®, the Digital Deluxe Edition allows you to play the full game from May 18, 2025 before the official release date. 

The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes other exclusive items such the Iconic Outfit Pack, as well as the Napdragon Weapons and Mount.

VTuber IRyS, who also sings “The Sound of Bliss” in the recently released music video trailer, did a special gameplay live stream on May 19, 2025 (JST). Viewers can  watch her as she dives into Ginormosia, the largest open world in the Fantasy Life series.

May 15th, 2025 – LEVEL5 Inc. announced that it has teamed up with Hololive Productions (run by Cover Corp) for FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time and that the latest promotional video which was unveiled today will feature popular Vtuber IRyS from Hololive’s English talent roster.

The latest trailer, which has been released on LEVEL5’s official YouTube channel introduces some never seen before in-game footage to the tune of the ending theme song “The Sound of Bliss” from the previous “Fantasy Life” title, which is sung by Vtuber IRyS.

IRyS will also do a live stream introducing the game, available on IRyS’s YouTube channel at 00:00 (JST) on May 19, 2025.

Other trailer featuring “Life Songs” and “Fantasy Life House” are also available now.
